The launch of our Road Ahead: Vision 2015 giving campaign was officially concluded at the beginning of June. Our goal is $1.2 million to be raised by the end of 2012. Pledges have been made of $503,448 as of mid June. While this result fell short of our ultimate goal we are not entirely surprised given these uncertain times. In fact, we are thankful that we have done this well and fully expect over the next two and one half years to meet our goal. Pledges continue to come in and unpledged, designated gifts continue to be made toward this fund. We will also invite newcomers to the church over the next few years to consider this as a way of partnering with the congregation in the fulfillment of its mission. The road ahead is full of promise and opportunity.
